School Fundraising
Hundreds of schools have been selling fundraising cookbooks since Gateway Publishing began publishing in 1965. There are basically three reasons schools see them as an effective fundraising tool:
- They are very profitable
- They can be customized
- They make for a great keepsake
Profitable
Fundraising cookbooks present a great opportunity for your school to make thousands of dollars. Over the years we’ve seen schools raise funds through selling cookbooks for all kinds of causes such as: play structures, sports equipment, audiovisual equipment, special programs, field trips, computers, graduation, band instruments, uniforms etc. Cookbooks have proven to be profitable and a great vehicle for achieving these goals.

Customizable
Customize your school fundraising cookbook however you like. Add that personal touch by getting students to provide art for the front cover and divider pages. Submit hand drawn pictures, crests, logos, and or photographs. There’s no limit to your creativity, and by submitting recipes through Gateway’s web site, students, teachers and parents can all get involved.
The Cookbook Keepsake
Recipes, personal comments, illustrations and photos provide an archive of the way things were for years to come.
