Faith Based Fundraising
The first fundraising cookbook printed by Gateway Publishing was way back in 1965 for St. James Anglican Church. Since that time, churches, synagogues and temples haven’t stopped calling. The most common comment shared with us by our customers is: “I have one of those church cookbooks in our kitchen drawer at home! We’ve had it for years and it’s the best. Those cookbooks always have those tried and true recipes!”
When we first started serving faith organizations, women from the congregation assembled their favorite handwritten recipes and mailed them to Gateway. After an eight-week wait, they would receive nicely compiled fundraising cookbooks delivered to their place of worship complete with spiral coil. Today, not only has the quality of our cookbooks improved but the process to arrive at this point has too. Our Online Submission Tool allows church groups to submit recipes online. Each group receives a username and password, ensuring that everyone in the group can contribute to the creation of their tailor made fundraising cookbook. |
