Print Ready Materials
Customers sometimes choose to supply print-ready electronic files. Print-ready is a term used to describe materials that don’t need to be typeset or handled in any way before they are printed. If you submit print-ready work, Gateway will not make any adjustments to it. What you send is exactly what will be printed. However, you must meet our page specifications as follows:
MS WORD files: Page size is 6 X 9 inches with .5 inch margins on all four sides, portrait orientation.
IMAGE files: Document size is 6 X 9 inches with a “live” area of 4.75 X 7.75 inches, portrait orientation.
We accept MS Word, Adobe PDF, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Quark XPress and JPEG files. Please call us regarding files from any other source. These guidelines must be adhered to or charges will be applied. Send us your print ready file for evaluation and Gateway will provide an estimate: cookbooks@gatebook.com |
